Technical concept:
The Aka is the entry point of the Takumi range. It uses an aluminum cantilever and bonded conical stylus, offering excellent stability and long-term reliability. Its low-impedance 5 Ω generator delivers smooth tonal balance and wide compatibility with MC stages.
Behaviour & character:
The Aka offers a classic, musical presentation. Its conical stylus sits deep and securely in the groove, maintaining excellent contact even on less-than-perfect pressings. Bass is firm and uncoloured, midrange tones are smooth and natural, and treble retains a gentle warmth.
